The West Palm Beach GreenMarket, the area’s best farmers’ market, takes place every Saturday morning, October through mid-to-late April, in a festive, family-friendly, open-air marketplace by the waterfront – pets included. Farmers bring fresh, locally-grown produce and farm-processed foods to sell directly to consumers, but there’s a lot more to buy and fun entertainment as well.
Plan your visit: The West Palm Beach GreenMarket is located at:
Green Lawn on N. Clematis, west of Flagler Drive. (See map below for directions)
(Due to the current renovations on Clematis Street, the market location will be along Flagler Dr now until December)
Hours: Saturday mornings from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.; October 5, 2019, to April 18, 2020.
Parking is free in the Evernia garage during market hours.
Come for the fun and entertainment!
The West Palm Beach GreenMarket is not only for purchasing fresh produce, plants, flowers, and even gifts. This is a place to enjoy a nice talk with locals, walk pets, sit on the grass while gazing at the waterfront, listening to music or snacking on delicious treats. Many residents make the GreenMarket their place for an outdoor breakfast or lunch on Saturday mornings.
Many of the area’s best restaurants are nearby the Greenmarket’s site and open during market’s hours, all offering excellent food.
An award-winning community event!
The WPB GreenMarket has been awarded more than two dozen awards over its more than 20-year history, including standout recognition as the best market in Florida by Cooking Light magazine – in its list of “America’s 50 Best Farmers’ Markets.”
The GreenMarket has also been voted Best GreenMarket in Florida by WPB Magazine and one of the best attractions in West Palm Beach during season.
In addition to the local vendors, the event features live music, unlimited mimosas for $10, free activities for kids, and plentiful green space and seating which creates a morning full of fun and relaxation. On the 3rd Saturdays, visitors can also take advantage of “By the Banyan” walking tours to learn about key historical locations throughout the downtown community.
