Every second Friday of each month, the Green Lawn in downtown transforms into an epic outdoors movie theater with ‘Screen on the Green West Palm Beach,’ free movie presentations that include favorite films we all love, from classic favorites to newer releases.
Screen on the Green happens on the “Big Green” on Flagler Drive and you can also purchase popcorn, snacks and beverages from a stocked concession stand while overlooking the spectacular waterfront in downtown and enjoying a classic film and newer flick.
The address for this event location is at 109 N Clematis St, West Palm Beach, 33401 (see map below) and it is from 7 pm to 10 pm.
Next movie presentation is on Friday, August 9, featuring Captain Marvel (PG-13)
A bit more about Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse:
The movie introduced the first big screen adaptation of Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli’s Miles Morales, paying respects not only to Peter Parker but the various other comic book versions of Spider-Man. It delivers a funny, heartwarming and fresh superhero origin story with gorgeously executed comic-style animation.
There’s never been anything like this animated exaltation of the Spider-Man canon. The animation is glorious, and more faithful to its comic-book roots than any big-screen graphics in the past. Don’t miss it.
Free and there’s also valet-parking service nearby.
