Lion Country Safari Park Hours
Open Daily at 9:30 am (admission gate closes at 4:30 pm)
The park closes at 5:30 pm.
It is recommended 4-5 hours to see everything.
Regular admission is $80 (10-64); child (3-9): $65, and senior (65 and up): $70
What to do at the Lion Country Safari?
The park is about driving through the plains along zebras, rhinos and giraffes as curious ostriches come for a closer look. The reserve is home to the largest herd of zebra in the western hemisphere, one of the largest herds of giraffe in the U.S. and a large herd of rhinos with a long history of breeding success.
You can enjoy lunch at the African-themed, cafeteria-style restaurant located inside Safari World. They serve a variety of items from deli sandwiches made fresh right in front of you, pizza, chicken tenders, burgers, baked chicken, fresh fruit and salads, hot dogs, kids’ meals, desserts and more.

Safari Splash Sprayground
Pick up a sack and then choose one of three lanes to slide down on this 90-foot long slide. Open daily, rides are complimentary. 108-foot-long freefall water slide. 214-foot-long loop water slide.
Hop on board the Safari Queen for a tour of Lake Shannalee and get a closer view of some of the birds and primates. Open daily, rides are complimentary.

We have all been to zoos where you can pet animals, but there’s nothing like being part of the giraffe feeding at Lion Country Safari Park. This happens everyday at 11 am and it is an awesome experience to stand eye-to-eye with giraffes on the feeding platform and watch them wrap their long, dark tongue around their food.
