West Palm Beach is known for celebrating the Holiday Season with “Sandi,” the world’s only 700-ton sand tree, as the main attraction during this wonderful time of the year.

The City of West Palm Beach is making plans to welcome back the star of our annual Holiday in Paradise events. Sandi will return to the waterfront on Saturday, December 5, 2020, for her 9th season.

In a year in which many are not planning on a photo with Santa, unless he’s already part of your family bubble, Sandi, the Holiday Tree, will bring us a bliss of hope with its nightly music and light shows through New Year’s Eve, Thursday, December 31, 2020. The light shows will run between 6 and 10 p.m.

Activities for the Holiday Season in West Palm Beach

While many Sandi Land staples—such as Glow FORE It Mini Golf, SnowieVille, and Sandi’s Dressing Room—are suspended this year, some have been modified to continue traditions, including a visit with Santa.

Anticipated elements include ‘Santa at Sandi’ where Santa people will find him safely distanced in his lifeguard chair. His perch will be more than six feet in the air, and kids and families can safely gather for a photo opportunity at the bottom.

‘Sing-along and/or Storytime with Sandi’ will be good for families. They can gather at the foot of the Sandi tree for an unforgettable experience, as Sandi sings along or reads aloud. This is a free event, but reservations will be required.

‘Surprise Pop-Up Entertainment’ are unexpected entertainment elements that will pop up throughout Sandi’s visit so every visitor can have festive and memory-making fun in a safe way.
