Book Fashion, Art & Nature
Sunday, Feb 1 at 1:30 pm
This is an impressive event: the presentation of the Book Fashion, Art & Nature by Oscar Carvallo edited by Skira happening at the curatorial pavilion in the APB_Photography session. The book illustrates the wonderful collaborative work between the teacher Carlos Cruz-Diez and the designer Oscar Carvallo. “La mode, l’art et la nature par Oscar Carvallo” chronicles 25 years of Oscar Carvallo’s Art and Fashion collaborations through exclusive imagery and stories that reveal secrets to the process, from conceptualization to the final development.
Must-see this year!
“Museum of the Moon” by Luke Jerram, an 8000 square foot multimedia artwork that has been on a worldwide museum tour stimulating our sense of conservation for our one and only place to live: the earth. Over a year in the creation, Jerram creates a moon landing. Jerram used NASA’s high-resolution imagery to make his giant moon. The moon sculpture is exactly half a million times smaller than the real thing, made with data from NASA’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter. Jerram created a soundtrack and Luna Moonlighting.
