Art After Dark at the Norton Museum of Arts is a popular weekly program where culture and entertainment meet! This free event offers an eclectic programming, including exceptional music of all genres, captivating conversations with curators, docent-led tours, art activities, films, dances, wine tastings, chef demos, and much more.
The program draws dozens of people to the museum for a variety of activities, tours, and culinary treats each Friday night.

Bring the whole family to an outdoor screening of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, which kicks off the film series What a Glorious Feeling: Summer Sing-alongs, featuring classic musicals. Free Popcorn! Also, participate in an Apple iPad design workshop featuring architectural firm Foster + Partners’ creative concepts.
A Closer Look: Mirror of Venus (7 pm)
Take a closer look at Eileen Cowin’s Mirror of Venus in the exhibition See and Be Seen: Picturing Notoriety.
Exhibition Lecture: How Posters Work (5:30 pm)
Ellen Lupton, Senior Curator of Contemporary Design at Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum in New York City, examines how designers use images, typography, color, and layout to convey the narrative magic of movies. Lupton is the author of How Posters Work and Design Is Storytelling.
Concert: Tallawah Mento Band (7:30 pm)
We’re taking you aboard with the sounds of Jamaica! Tallawah Mento Band is a Florida based acoustic mento band specializing in Caribbean music for all!
